Dr Stephan Schwarz, the Canadian Journal of Anesthesia’s current Editor-in-Chief, will give an “inside” glimpse into our national specialty journal. What are some of the key Journal metrics and how does it compare to its peers? What support and processes are needed to produce an issue? How do you write a strong submission? From his publishing experience, he’ll give some expert advice on how to draft an initial research report submission and how to set yourself up for success. He’ll provide tips and tricks on how to increase the odds of a successful submission and outline common mistakes to avoid. There will also be time to ask all your publishing questions!
